In moments of despair, darkness, and difficulty, we all need some place of comfort, rest, or solace to turn to. Matthew 11 discusses this idea and offers encouragement as Jesus explains, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Beloved #3 has been nominated anonymously by a dear friend. He is currently experiencing severe depression and struggling with suicidal thoughts.
The hope and prayers of those who love him is that he would find solace and overcome the struggle that burdens him. They pray that he will overcome the thoughts that plague and torment his heart. They pray that joy in his heart would be restored. They pray that God would keep him and hold him. Let’s join them in praying.
His loved ones ask that scripture verses and heartfelt words from God would be shared to convey to him that he matters.
