When we face long lasting hurts, it can feel too heavy to hold on our own. We need others.
Cynthia has dedicated so much of her life to bearing others’ burdens. She has faithfully served the homeless community for decades. She knows each person by name, and they feel so loved by her and her heart for them!
Right now, Cynthia needs others to join her in bearing her burden. Recently, Cynthia has undergone major heart surgery. Since then, she has been having a very difficult time recovering. The severity of the pain is so great that she struggles to sleep through the night. While recovery is a process, when we don’t see the results we hope for it can become discouraging.
In this process of recovery, we have the opportunity to remind Cynthia of hope, to share verses that encourage us in long challenges, and to pray for her!
