a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen or the confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength is in His faithfulness.
This world is in need of true, life giving, hope. One of my favorite and one of the most popular passages in the Bible is from Isaiah 40:31. It says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
I love these comforting and motivating words. In a world that is always changing there is a God that is constant that we can have a confident expectation in Him and His promises that He will be our strength and not let us grow weary when we lean on Him.
Right now, Faith is in a season feeling kind of hopeless. 15-year-old Faith has already walked through difficult trials in her young life and she is continuing too. She has had a difficult home life and struggles to find a group of encouraging and uplifting friends that point her to truth. Right now quarantine has been particularly difficult for her, and she is in a trying place.
Lately, Faith has been asking more questions, wanting to know about Jesus, and looking for HOPE. Let's join together and encourage Faith now, spur her on to keep going and remind her of true hope!
