noun
/ˈkänˌtakt/
the state or condition of communicating or meeting.
The past couple of years have taught us all a lot. One recurring takeaway we all seem to have found is that we need each other. We cannot do life alone.
In the book of Acts, we get to see a picture of this kind of community. Chapter 2 explains that “all the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.”
We need each other.
Right now, Fritz’s wife needs him. She and Fritz have been married for over 50 years. As she battles alzheimers, Fritz helps with her every need. He is completely devoted to caring for his wife, and they have two loving daughters who help and care for their parents as well. Outside of small interactions, though, Fritz does not get to interact with many people.
He could use some people to come around him and remind him how valued he is!
Would you commit to writing Fritz a letter? A few simple words can speak greater volumes than you could ever know! Remind him that he matters!
