Mature, long standing love
Love can be somewhat “easy” at first… between the butterflies, the newness, and the excitement! Some say that it is easy to “fall in love,” but a much greater, admirable journey is to “stand in love,” putting one another’s needs above your own even when it’s hard and standing together through the joys and the trials that come.
This kind of long standing, enduring, dedicated, and committed love is known as the Greek word, “pragma.”
LuAnn and her late husband demonstrated this kind of love. The pair were devoted to each other through the highs and lows of life. They loved each other, they loved the Lord, and they loved their family.
This past December, LuAnn lost her beloved husband unexpectedly. These following weeks have been very challenging and lonely for her. She could use a bit of encouragement right now, and we can do play a role in bringing some of that encouragement to her life.
