As we start the new year, many people make their resolutions and feel a newfound sense of hope, fresh beginnings, and anticipation. Meanwhile, others may feel a kind of dread, discouragement, and doubt of any change for the better.
Monica is facing this type of discouragement as she approaches another semester of college. College has been challenging for her because she feels so alone and unseen. Monica is struggling with issues of self-worth, depression, and anxiety. She has so much to offer and share, and she needs to be reminded of that.
Her nominator sweetly shared that Monica is one of the kindest, caring, and most intentional people. We have the opportunity to intentionally show that same kindness and care to Monica.
