We can be really hard on ourselves. Sometimes, we think that our worth comes from what we do, how much we can accomplish or what others say about us. However, there is another way- a better way.
God says that our worth actually comes from HIM and we could never do enough or accomplish enough, so He sent Jesus for US. We matter so much to Him, that He was willing to die for us, still wants to know us, and wants to have a relationship with us. He says that to Him, we are more precious than rubies (Prov 31:10).
Right now, Niki is struggling to walk in the truth of her worth. She is a precious mom of a young daughter, who is the sunshine of her whole world. Recently, Niki separated from her husband after years of abuse. Now, she is trying to find the strength to combat the lies she has heard for years so that she can be a strong mom to her little girl.
Let’s take a few minutes to encourage Niki, and remind her of the truth that she DOES matter, that she IS valuable and so very precious.
