I have had the opportunity to know Mr. B as a family friend for years. I have always admired him as a wise older man that had been through a lot in his life but immensely loves the Lord and his family. Right now, Mr. B could use some extra love and encouragement.
He has recently been facing some serious depression and is currently living with his daughter. He is a talented cook and gardener, a truly kind man, a devoted husband to his wife who passed years ago, a veteran, and a beloved Papa. He has been through a great deal in his life and continues to remain faithful. His family’s prayer is that he will experience joy and the value of life again.
He told me once that “You give from your heart, you don’t advertise it.” He is generous and loving, and now it is time for us to be generous and loving back to him during this dark and difficult time in his life.
