A classmate is so much more than this definition lets on. Students can sometimes spend more time with their classmates at school than they do with even their families at home. Classmates have the unique opportunity to grow through a special season of life together. Each day, they get to see each other mature and develop as they move through the years of school making memories, struggling through tests, and cheering on their sports teams. These bonds are precious.
Jenna is a beloved classmate, and she adores her fellow peers. She is currently in 5th grade, and she thrives at school surrounded by her classmates and teachers. She is a bright young girl that loves people, and she is currently sad to be separated from people in this season of social distancing during the coronavirus. Right now she is feeling a little lonely, and we get the opportunity to remind her that she is not alone!!
