The future is surely unknown and uncertain. This past year has shown us all that we cannot know or plan the next year, the next month, or even the next day. It is out of our hands. However, Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that there is one who DOES know the plans and His hands are capable to hold it.
This verse says “for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Katherine is currently walking through some uncertainty for her future. With an upcoming wedding, Katherine’s life has been filled with wedding and future plans!
Recently, Katherine interviewed for a great job that she was really thinking that she would be offered. She ended up not getting the offer, and it has come as disappointing and confusing news to her heart. Katherine is frustrated with the Lord because she felt that she surrendered it to Him and He didn’t give it to her.
Katherine could use some extra encouragement and sweet reminders of the Lord’s sovereignty! Let’s join together in praying for God to use this to open new doors, show her his faithfulness, and strengthen her faith.
