Family is so important to so many people. This definition of family reminds me of what a family should be. Mrs. MaryAnn's family exemplifies this definition beautifully, and they are extremely important in her life. She is a beloved Grandma that currently lives at a healthcare facility. The location that she is staying at just doesn't seem to feel like home...until the weekends. Each week, Mrs. MaryAnn looks forward to visits from her son, daughters, and grandchildren on the weekends when they can talk and spend time together. Unfortunately, this has not been possible lately due to precautions and safety measures regarding the coronavirus. While her family is thankful that their Grandma is staying safe from the virus, they miss her and wish they could ease her loneliness by being with her.
It has been difficult for the family to get details as they cannot be physically present at the hospital. Her family is asking that we join together to remind her of hope outside of her current situation, a great love that cares for her, and encouragement to keep going.
