Emily has a precious kindness, compassion, and empathy in her character. Unfortunately, Emily has recently been going through a very difficult season of loneliness and losing hope. Her family has been enduring a great deal of loss, health issues, and personal difficulties. She has also been contemplating changing her journalism major to a counseling and therapy focus.
With all of these uncertainties, Emily is feeling the discouragement of a future that she doesn’t feel super excited or passionate about right now. Right now, she doesn’t have anyone truly pouring into her life, and she needs community so desperately. We get to be part of that community that can pour into her!
Her nominator’s prayer for Emily is for her joy to be RESTORED, for hope to be found, for strength, peace, and healing in these days. Her beautiful nomination wrote that she needs to be reminded that God has a plan for her and it is okay to not have it all together (and I think we all could use that reminder on a daily basis!).
