People are gifts. Their lives and their stories are precious. As I read stories like these, I am inspired and motivated to embrace strength, to be grateful for the things I have in life, and to continue to persevere through obstacles. How amazing that people we have never met can have this impact on us? Addie has this impact on many people.
Addie is a sweet nine year old girl that was just diagnosed with leukemia four weeks ago. Like many nine year olds she is fun loving and has the joy of a child! This news, though, has been difficult for Addie and her family to navigate, especially during this time. As they learn how to walk through this trial, they could most definitely benefit from encouragement of any kind!
What a gift we have to be able to care for people walking through these hard times as well. You can remind Addie that her life has meaning, that she is strong, and that she is so loved!
