Savannah’s Story
Sister // Niece // High School Senior // Woman that matters

Noun
Life is not without its challenges. Some seasons in life bring about more challenges than others, but one piece of encouragement I cling to when I face these trials is a verse in Isaiah 43:2. It says “When you pass through I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." What a beautiful reminder that while we must walk through challenges, we do not walk alone, I believe God promises to walk with us.
Savannah is currently walking through some challenges. She is a graduating high school senior this year. In a time that should be one of celebration and anticipation of what is to come, Savannah has been navigating disappointment and discouragement not only from missing time at school but also from medical concerns. Her nine year old sister, Addie, was just diagnosed with leukemia four weeks ago. Savannah has been navigating challenges of her own, and the pandemic and news of her beloved sister has only deepened her discouragement.
We can join her in her walk through this challenge right now by writing her a letter to remind her that she matters, that she is loved, and she is not alone. Any uplifting encouragement would make a deep impact!
Would you commit to writing Savannah a letter? A few simple words can speak greater volumes than you could ever know! Remind her that she matters!
